Placements and careers

Career preparation starts on the first day of the MBA. The Placement and Career Development Cell combines training, industry contact, a summer internship and a six-month project.

Placement results: from 2027

TIBM started its MBA in 2025–26. The first batch graduates in 2027, and we will publish placement results after that. Until then, this page describes the training and support every student gets.

Career development

Preparing women for management careers

Our commitment extends beyond securing placements: we empower students to build successful, sustainable careers through structured career planning, skill development, industry engagement and continuous mentoring by faculty.

Summer internship

As part of the Anna University MBA curriculum, students undertake a structured summer internship after completing their first year, gaining practical industry exposure and applying classroom learning to real-world business environments.

Project work

In the fourth semester, students undertake a six-month industry-oriented project, also part of the Anna University curriculum, and apply their management knowledge to real business challenges within an organisation.

Students work with an industry mentor and a faculty supervisor, and complete a project for the organisation. It is a chance to use classroom ideas in a real business and to build analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
