Admission Process

The Admission Committee at TIBM invests significant effort in evaluating each applicant holistically by assessing not just academic performance, but also career aspirations, leadership potential, extracurricular involvement, and interpersonal skills. In its mission to foster a diverse and intellectually vibrant learning environment, TIBM welcomes applicants from all academic backgrounds and regions across the country.

Selection Process

Short-listed candidates will be invited to attend a Personal Interview. Interview call letters will be sent via courier, post, and e-mail.

TIBM’s selection process is based on a composite score that includes the following parameters:

• Entrance Test Scores (as mentioned in the eligibility criteria above)
• Statement of Purpose (SOP)
• Past Academic Performance
• Work Experience (if any)
• Extra-Curricular Activities and Interests
• Achievements and Accomplishments

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

Educational Qualification

• A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) from a recognized University.
• Minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying degree.

Entrance Exams

Admission is based on entrance exams like

• TANCET MBA (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) – Conducted by Anna University.
• CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA – Accepted by private universities and some government institutions.
