Admission Process

At TIBM, the Admission Committee follows a holistic and comprehensive approach to evaluating applicants. The selection process considers not only academic performance but also career aspirations, leadership potential, extracurricular involvement, achievements, and interpersonal skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must fulfil the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree of a minimum three-year duration from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks, in accordance with the applicable norms.

Entrance Examinations

Admission is based on valid scores obtained in any of the following entrance examinations:

• TANCET – Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test conducted by Anna University
• CAT – Common Admission Test
• MAT – Management Aptitude Test
• CMAT – Common Management Admission Test
• CET – Common Entrance Test

Management Quota

Candidates shortlisted based on their eligibility and entrance examination scores will be invited to participate in a Personal Interview.

The final selection will be based on a composite assessment of the following parameters:

• Entrance examination score
• Past academic performance
• Relevant work experience, if any
• Extracurricular activities and areas of interest
• Academic, professional, and personal achievements
• Performance in the Personal Interview
