Admission Process

Committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and intellectually vibrant learning environment, TIBM welcomes eligible applicants from diverse academic disciplines and regions across India.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must fulfil the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree of a minimum three-year duration from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks, in accordance with the applicable norms.

Entrance Examinations

Admission is based on valid scores obtained in any of the following entrance examinations:

  • TANCET – Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test conducted by Anna University
  • CAT – Common Admission Test
  • MAT – Management Aptitude Test
  • CMAT – Common Management Admission Test
  • CET – Common Entrance Test

Government Quota – As per TANCET Counselling

Management Quota

Candidates shortlisted based on their eligibility and entrance examination scores will be invited to participate in a Personal Interview.

The final selection will be based on a composite assessment of the following parameters:

  • Entrance examination score
  • Past academic performance
  • Relevant work experience, if any
  • Extracurricular activities and areas of interest
  • Academic, professional, and personal achievements
  • Performance in the Personal Interview
